Why I Decided to Become a Lawyer

Emma: What is one of the necessary professions in the world?

Valery: In my opinion, today the profession of a lawyer is one of the most relevant ones.

Emma: Why do you think so?

Valery: It is been always in demand. Ordinary people have consulted to legal specialists all the time. Besides, the knowledge of laws and legal acts may favor you in your career, and it will help you in any aspects of life.

Emma: But these laws are constantly changing.

Valery: Yes, you are quite right. That’s why a good lawyer should keep the track of all the legal events. Information is necessary for real professionals. It is well known that qualification of a lawyer can give such opportunities as taking part in court processes, investigating various cases and opening a new law agency.

Emma: I see. It sounds like you really want to become a legal expert.

Valery: It is a work that requires multitasking skills like public speaking skills, analytical and critical thinking. I think this is very interesting. And it is one of the most high-paid jobs. That is why I decided to become a lawyer.

Emma: Well, what are you going to do to become a real professional in the legal sphere?

Valery: I am planning to study well, to participate in legal conferences and to find a job connected with law issues for practice.

Emma: And don’t forget to read newspapers and to watch TV to be aware what is happening in the world of law.

Valery: Yes, certainly.
