N 1: This is George. He is a giant. He is the scruffiest giant in town. He always wears the same old patched-up gown and the same old brown sandals.

G: I wish I wasn’t the scruffiest giant in town.

N2: One day… he saw a shop.

He bought a smart shirt, a smart pair of trousers, a smart belt, a smart stripy tie, smart socks and a smart pair of shiny black shoes.

Giant: Look at me! I am the smartest giant in town.

Chorus: Look me up and down… I am the smartest giant in town

N1: When he was going home, he heard a noise. It was a giraffe.

G. What is the matter giraffe?

Giraffe: It is my neck. It is so very long and so very cold. I need a warm scarf.

G: Cheer up! I will give you my tie

Giraffe: Thank you, thank you Mr. Giant!

But look me up a down

I am the smartest giant in town

N2: George came to a river. On a boat, stood a sad goat.

G: What is the problem, goat?

Goat: It is my sail. I lost it in a storm. I need a new sail.

G: Cheer up! I will give you my shirt.

Goat: Thank you, thank you Mr. Giant

N1: George found a family of mice squeaking.

G: What is the matter, little white mouse?

White Mouse: I don’t have a house. I need a new house.

G: Cheer up! I will give you my shoe.

White Mouse: Thank you, thank you MR giant!

N2: Gorge came to a campsite. There was a fox crying.

G: What is the matter, fox?

Fox: It is my sleeping bag. I dropped it in the water. I need a new sleeping bag.

G: Cheer up! I will give you one of my socks.

Fox: Thank you, Thank You Mr. Giant

N2: George came to a big squelchy bog. Beside there was a dog howling.

G. What is the problem, dog?

Dog: It is this bog. I can’t go through. I need a safe, dry path.

G: Cheer Up! I will give you my belt.

Dog: thank You, thank you Mr. Giant

My shirt is on a boat as a sail for a goat

My shoe is a house for a little white mouse

One of my socks is a bed for a fox

My belt helped a dog who was crossing a bog

But ……

My trousers are falling down!

I am the coldest giant in town.

N1: George was sad and not at all smart. He went back to the shop to buy new clothes.

When he got to the shop, it was closed.

He found his old clothes and he felt much better.

N2: When he was going home, he met all the animals he had helped. They had a present.

Animals, all together: Open it George!!!

(The giant opens the present, puts on the crown.)

Animals: Read the card George!
