§ Aired on September 6, 2009 The five remaining crews were given some of the nation's hottest dance crazes, including the Stanky Legg and Jerkin'. Similar versions of this challenge were used in the three previous seasons. The crews also had use the trampoline built into the stage in their routines.
§ Safe: AfroBoriké, Massive Monkees, Rhythm City § Bottom 2: We Are Heroes, Vogue Evolution § Eliminated: Vogue Evolution Edit]Week 6: VMA Challenge § Aired on September 13, 2009 The episode was aired on September 13 as part of the VMA lineup. The episode aired at 7PM/6C, one hour before the VMA preshow. The final four crews paid homage to the most memorable VMA performances of all time. The four crews performed together in an opening number to " Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson.[12]
§ Safe: We Are Heroes, AfroBoriké § Bottom 2: Massive Monkees, Rhythm City § Eliminated: Rhythm City Edit]Week 7: Decades of Dance Challenge and Last Chance Challenge § Aired on September 20, 2009 This week on ABDC, the crews competed against each other in two challenges: the Decade of Dance challenge, in which the crews danced to a master mix of five songs from the past five decades, and the Last Chance Challenge. Edit]Challenge #1: Decades of Dance Challenge The remaining 3 crews emulated moves from great performers of past decades. One crew was given the boot halfway through the show.
