Qualifications

Description

In this position you'll work on Intel hardware accelerated video encoders within MediaSDK project. The work will include development and support of modern encoders for multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Android) in close cooperation with hardware designers, development of MediaSDK API, technical communication with customers.

Qualifications

You must be an active daily student pursuing Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in a relevant field.

Background in mathematics and computer science
At least 1 year experience in C/C++ coding
Good technical English
Ability and intention to learn fast
Knowledge of video compression principles as advantage
Basic knowledge of modern codecs (like AVC, VPx, HEVC) as advantage
Experience in programming for multiple OSs (Windows, Linux) as advantage

MediaSDK SW intern – 760608 (Moscow)

Description

Internship opportunity for 4+ year students. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature related to media processing. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.

Qualifications

You must be a student of (at least) 4th year study of Computer Science with major in Computer Graphics. Additional qualifications may include:
- Experience with video codecs such as HEVC, AVC, VPx;
- Experience in C/C++ programming;
- Programming in scripting languages (knowledge of shell, make, perl, python is preferable);
- Strong mathematical background;
- Ability to work in the team;
- Good learning abilities;
- Good English communication skills;
