Description

Technical Marketing Intern within the Application Design-In Center (ADC) providing support on Intel low power products and solutions in different embedded applications.

This is an engineering position primarily focused on scaling out the support for Intel Embedded products such as low power IA processors, chipsets and associated circuits at a platform level with focus on the software, providing application demonstrations which show the key features and benefits of Intel embedded platforms and technology, and aiding the technical support given to customers, Intel sales and marketing, plus Intel's distribution channel, during the product development phases of a customer’s design.

This role also incapsulates development work on customer projects. Time split between marketing and development activities can vary.

The support includes activities like:

- development and co-development of compute solution (embedded, automotive, consumer electronics designs)
- provide detailed support to customers during the product development phases to ensure product on time launch (from first engagement till production phase)
- enable customers with technical design documentation, firmware, drivers
- analyze existing customer designs and advise on best choices on components, schematic, firmware, OS, drivers and application level software
- demonstrate advantages and value proposition of Intel solutions by building product and technology demonstration using reference platforms

Qualifications

The successful candidate must pursue a course of studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science with applicable experience and proficiency related to low level programming, drivers creation and debug. We are seeking for a bright person who want to learn more about embedded solutions and their design cycle.

Additional qualification is a plus:
- Knowledge of microcontroller programming and embedded systems design cycle
- Linux* kernel & driver (graphics/network) programming expirience (ASM, C/C++) // development
- Knowledge of scripting languages (shell, Perl, Python) // validation
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills (English) // customer iteractions
