Dear Volunteer!

We are very happy to welcome you to one of our projects! Please read the following information carefully. The dates and meeting point for this project are written at the top of each section. We have included information on what to bring, travel details and of course information of the work you will be doing.

Or if you are lost or late when you arrive in the UK please call your host or Co-ordinator – the details are on page 1.

For this project you will need a certificate of good conduct. This is a police check which will show that you have never committed a crime against a child or young person and that you are suitable to work with or be around children. You will need to send a copy of this certificate by fax or email to Concordia AT LEAST 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE PROJECT BEGINS. YOU MAY LOSE YOUR PLACE IF YOU DO NOT SEND IT. You will need to give the original to the host when you arrive.

If you need to cancel your place at the last minute please contact me as soon as possible so that I can tell the co-ordinator and host not to expect you.
