Irregular comparison






little – less - the least, good – better - the best, bad – worse - the worst

far - farther/further - the farthest/furthest

old – elder - the eldest – about relatives (He is my elder brother)

old – older - the oldest (My friend is 2 years older then me)

4) Adverbs: more and most angrily, quickly, slowly

Веди помедленнее! – Drive more slowly!

Exceptions: early, fast, hard, late, near, soon

5) Similes: we use as …as to say that people or things are equal in some way

#She’s as stupid as a monkey
