Information Technology Architect (Kuala Lumpur)

Capital Dynamics seeks an Information Technology (IT) Architect to support the group's rapidly expanding investment advisory and fund management businesses. Applicants should have breadth and depth of knowledge across hardware, software and network infrastructure. Being extremely goal-oriented and a natural leader certainly help. Responsibilities:

o The Information Technology (IT) Architect will be the driving force behind IT strategy and policy undertakings to improve the business efficiency and effectiveness while achieving sustainable stability and security.

o Lead the team by determining resource allocation & unifying competencies of team members to complete multiple projects.

o Build and manage hardware, networks and software infrastructure in the office.

o Initiate and supervise the implementation of software, hardware and network projects to meet existing operational and expansion needs.

Requirements:

o Well-versed in technical design of modular & reusable system architecture.

o Working knowledge in Unix/Linux as well as Windows Server environment.

o Major roles in at least 3 full SDLC experience in developing Java/JEE applications will be especially appreciated.

o Excellent communication skills in English are a must.

o Fanatical about the quality and success of projects, the Information Technology (IT) Architect is expected to be a supervisor at times and a hands-on person at others.

o Experienced in developing large scale client servers, web technologies, system integration, SOA, multi-tier, MVC, code refactoring, HA, clustering, network/data security.
