Categories and Distances:

Sprint (Nome Style):

Middle distance Sled-dog

- Unlimited classes (MD12) – within a pool of 14 dogs - 24+24 km

- 6-dog class (MD6) – within a pool of 8 dogs - 21+21 km

Middle distance Ski-dog

- Skijoring 1-2 dogs (MDS) – from 19 years - 21+21 km

Sprint Race Ski-dog

Day 1 (Thursday)

Pulka classes

- 1-dog men elite (PM1) 15 km

- 1-dog women elite (PW1) 10km

- 1-dog men junior (PMJ1) 10 km

- 1-dog women junior (PWJ1) 10 km

Day 2 (Friday)

Skijoring 1-dog classes

- Elite divided into men and women (SM1/SW1), distance 15 km.

- Juniors divided into men and women (SM1J/SW1J) 10 km

Day 3 (Saturday)

Combine competition in 1-dog classes modified for Arena model, a race with mass start on a short track with 2 laps. The first to cross the finish line will be awarded European Champion in the class.

- Elite divided into men and women (CM/CW); distance 2x7, 5 km

- Juniors divided into men and women (CMJ/CWJ); distance 2x5 km

Day 4 (Sunday)

NAT.Relay (R); distance 3x7, 5 km, Mixed, skijoring and pulka 1-dog, with three legs, the first and second with skijoring and the last leg with pulka

All classes are open for a limited number of teams from countries not represented in IFSS. Those teams will not be granted EC titles. Special awarding for registered nordic breed teams is foreseen.

The registration of qualified drivers, name and DID no., shall be received by the IFSS Europe Sport Committee on the entry form (see the IFSS Web site to download and use this form) on or before February15^th 2016:

Teams to be seeded and Registered Nordic Breed teams shall be marked on the entry form. Only one team pr class/ pr nation can be seeded. For contestants in junior classes an IFSS Junior Waiver Form has to be submitted additionally.
