My Friend and I

I’m glad to say, I have a wonderful friend. My friend and I love to spend our weekends together. We don’t like to be alone. However we can’t meet in the morning. As for my friend he enjoys sleeping so he never gets up early both on Saturday and on Sunday. I’d like to say that he has a chance to do it every weekend. He works that’s why he needn’t do different tasks for his studies either on his days off or weekdays. But I’m a student and I can’t have the same life as my friend. I’m busy even at my weekends and before our meeting I have to do a lot of work. I always do my best to prepare all the tasks as quick as possible and when I’m free at last I go to see my best friend.

I’d like to say that we always have a good time together. We are so fond of talking about everything. My friend often finds a good topic for our talk. He is a great joker and it’s a pleasure for me to listen to his funny stories.

Either on Saturday or on Sunday we usually go to the country. There is a very beautiful place on the river not far from our town. In summer we go fishing and swimming there. But in winter we go skiing. We are greatly fond of such trips to the country. I’d like to say that my friend has a wonderful pet. That is a dog. As far as I know it is about 10 years old but it looks like a young dog because it’s strong and brave. I wonder whether it is ever afraid of anybody. My friend is so proud of his pet. We always take it when we go to the country and the dog is pleased with it too. I think that nothing may happen to us with such a reliable friend like a brave dog.

Both my friend and I enjoy listening to music. I’m sorry to say, we never do it together. Neither of us is able to listen to music of the same kind. As for me I’m fond of rock but my friend prefers country style rather than rock or something like that.

However there is something which he is fond of like me. That is football. Both of us play it for the same team and we do it quite well. We always take part in all its games. My friend and I are great fans as well and we watch all football matches on TV.

I’m happy to have such a good and reliable friend. I’m sure that we’ll always be together. I think that I can hope for this.
