From... to Из (одного места в другое)   They travelled from Rome to Paris by bicycle.
To Into/in Towards [tə `wɔ: dz, `tɔ: rdz AE] § На, в, к (куда) – обозначает направление движения. С глаголами движения может не переводиться.     В (снаружи внутрь)   К, по направлению к   § С существительными, обозначающими движение   § Arrive in (country, town, village)   § Arrive at (smaller than the above)   § Travel/go by (виды транспорта) § By – как средство передвижения, в общем § On - пешком § In на (чем) машине, такси § On - частный случай § By /via [`vɑ ɪ ə ] По, через Транспорт: посадка. Глаголы: § to board (formal) – осуществить посадку § to get on /into the train/plane/bus, etc. сесть § get onto – то же самое (когда разные уровни: снизу – вверх и наоборот)     § to get on/onto § to get out of/to get off выходить, высаживаться § to go on board   to go to travel to run to come to walk to send to return to take - отнести/отвезти/повести to get - добираться, приезжать, приходить We got to the station just in time for the train. BUT She brought it to her home. § С глаголами be, live, stay, work со словом home употребляется предлог at: She is at home now. She is working at home today. BUT She is in her home now. (определение)   By car/ by road/ By train/ by rail/By bus/ by coach/ By boat/by ship/ by sea By plane/ by air/ helicopter/By underground/By bicycle/ bike/ motor bike On foot In a car/ in my car/ in their car In a taxi On the train/plane/bus/bicycle/on the 6.45 train etc.   We travelled by the M4 - Мы ехали по шоссе М4. We travelled via Reading [re..] - Мы (по)ехали через Рединг.     (Announcement)... The passengers are requested to board the train   We got on the train and found our seats. We got into the car and rode off. Get in, please. – Садитесь! (Приглашение сесть в машину).     To get on/onto a horse/ camel/bicycle/motorbike To get off the bus/train/place/bicycle/horse, etc. Get off! – Слазь! (с велосипеда, например) We went on board the ship and were shown our cabins.
  Get вместо go/come, return/ - прямое и переносное значение To get into/to get in – попасть I’ve lost my key. How are we going to get into the house? To get out/out of – выйти, выбраться, убираться The house is on fire. We’d better get out. It’s difficult to get into a university today.

  § Налево/направо... у Turn left/right a t the Post Office.
  § Мимо Go on past the Post Office.
  § Налево/направо.. § Налевo/направо... на Turn left/right. Turn left /right into Fleet Street.
  § Первый/второй поворот Take the first/second turning on/to (on your right) the right
  § До конца... Go on to the end of the road
  § Выйти... напротив/перед When you come out of the station, you’ll find the bank opposite you/in front of you.
  § Выйти из... идти, а Get out of the bus at the tube station and walk on till you come to a pub.
  § Выйти из... пройти назад пока не... § Get off (the bus) and walk back till you come to the traffic lights.
up § вверх (по чем-либо, лестнице, стене и т.д.)   Rita is going up the stairs.
down § вниз (по чему-либо) Daniel is coming down the stairs.  
across § Через (дорогу, речку и т.д.) Melanie is running across the road.
through § Через (лес, парк, тоннель, толпу, то есть то, что представляет объем The cars are going through the tunnel.  
A/round § По, вокруг   They are running around/round the track.
Forward § Вперед. Backward § Назад
Upward § Вверх Downward · Вниз
Inward § Внутрь Outward · Наружу
Sideways · Боком    
Clockwise § По часовой стрелке anticlockwise § Против часовой стрелки
