Inserting the pin too deep will cause the rocker shaft to be unable to turn and the pin not to come off.

• Fit the eccentric bushing ® into the sub rocker arm CD and insert the pin @. • Screw in the sub rocker arm adjust screw by approximate ly three complete turns and tighten temporarily. I A CAUTION \ * Assembl e the eccentric bushing with its groove ® on the side opposite to the main rocker arm. * bushing inner surface.
I A CAUTION I EX Two intake rocker arm shafts are each different and therefore do not confuse one with the other.
NOTE: The rocker arm shafts can be identified by checking for a grooved line: With line --- Intake RH side Without line -- Intake LH side
• Fit the special tool (Rocker shaft turning wrench) to the rocker arm shaft. mil 09917-13231: Rocker shaft turning wrench
• I A CAUTION \ Do not confuse the right sub rocker arm with the left one since they are different in dimensions.

• Fit the dowel pins CD and ®·
• I A CAUTION I * Bring. 6. mark forward. * The plate is designed to be tightened together with the cylinder head using the same bolt. Therefore, the bolts must be tightened little by little diagonally. t!
