The crankshaft must be turned in the engine normal operation direction.

NOTE:

Shims which can be replaced in this procedure:

• Adjust screws @ and @ (two places)

INSPECTION ON #3 AND #4 CYLINDER INTAKE SIDE

• Bring the line on the intake camshaft right side end face to the position as illustrated.

• Attach the special tool (Rocker shaft turning wrench) to the rocker arm shaft being measured.
