• Draw out the gearshift shaft. •

NOTE: When removing the cam driven gear, do not lose the gear shifti ng pawl @, pin @ and spring ®·

NOTE: Do not remove the oil gallery plug retainer ®.
•
•
NOTE: Do not lose the 0-ring CD, switch contact ® and its spring ®·
• R emove the water pump. • R emove the oil seal retainer. • R emove the oil pan. •
•
• R emove the shim CD and 0-ring ®· • R emove the upper crankcase securing bolts. •
• When removing the crankshaft tightening bolts, loosen them in the descending order of numbers assigned to these bolts. NOTE: Two al/en bolts are used for tightening crankshaft at the portion ® · 09914-25811: 6-mm " T" type hexagon wrench 09900-00410: Hexagon wrench set

09912-34510: Cylinder disassembler CAUTION: Do not drop the crankshaft journal bearings from the lower crankcase.
• R emove the cra n kshaf t assem bl y from the u pper cra n kcase. ©
Bear in mind that the crankshaft thrust bearings © are located between shaft and case.

• R emove the 0-ri ng @.
•
Do not lose the C-rings ® and bearing pins (j).
•
• Hold the gearshift forks by hand to draw out the gearshift fork shaft. •
