May the Lord show compassion here”. oà prajä patiù viñ ë u å ñ iù triñ ö up chandaù ç ré viñ ë uù devatä agni-sthä pane viniyogaù oà ihaivä yam itaro jä taveda devebhyo havyaà vahatu prajä nan “May the remaining fire here, omniscient Jä tavedas, carry the oblations to the gods”. · Brahma Sthä pana (installing and worshipping the brahma): He may receive a Vaiñ ë ava brä hmaë a conversant with the rituals, alternatively he can make a doll of kuç a (kuç amaya brä hmaë a) and establish it as the brahma. @footnote: In the case of receiving the kuç amaya brä hmana, the hotå (in this case the groom) should recite all the mantras. He addresses the brahma thus: “oà sä dhu bhavä n ä stä m” “May you be comfortable.” The brahma replies: “oà sä dhu aham ä se” “I am comfortable.” The groom says: “oà arcayiñ yä mo bhavantam” “I will worship you.” The brahma replies: “oà arcaya” “You may honor me.” Touching the brahma’s knee with gandha, flowers, tulasé, cloth etc the groom should say: oà govinda govinda govinda oà tat sat
